Greetings all,
I'm here at work with several of my colleagues watching with great
interest the University of Arizona free presentation by Diana West on
low milk production and breast surgery. We're very grateful for it.
I am curious about one thing, however. I've heard her mention
domperidone use in her clients several times today, and she's made no
mention of any difficulty in getting it, that I can tell (I did miss the
beginning of the talk). Is she in the U.S.? I thought it was risky at
best and impossible at worst to get or even recommend domperidone here.
Did the FDA recently approve it? How is she (or how are others in the
U.S.) handling this subject? Clearly some of her clients are being made
aware of and using it, and I'm curious as to how that's happening
without putting herself or the pharmacists at professional risk.
Thanks...
