My letter to IBLCE:
To whom it may concern:
Is there a reason why these decisions and edits are made and not sent to the
IBCLC community except through Lactnet? I do not think Lactnet is the
appropriate venue to learn of serious issues of IBLCE. It seems to me that using
a postal mail system to inform IBCLCs of changes to their profession would be
the more appropriate method of sharing such important information. This is
the second time I have been informed by a post on Lactnet of a serious change
to professional guidelines or responsibilities. Perhaps a more professional
method is possible?
Thank you,
Pam MazzellaDiBosco, IBCLC, RLC
