Michele,

The tingling could be a symptom of Herpes Zoster (shingles) with or without
lesions.  Early use of antivirals can decrease the severity of the incidence
and prevent post-herpetic neuralgia.  Shingles commonly affects the thoracic
nerves.  She should see her HCP.
