Janice, I think this type of thing is more common than we realize. I have seen
this type of coupon/cheque sharing and begging on other lists. Many
breastfeeding moms get them and send them to non-breastfeeders.
You are right, it is a wonderful example of a low-income mother who puts her
baby on formula (for whatever reason) using the free samples she gets when
the babe is born, and then cannot keep paying for it as time goes on. Very,
very sad.
