This paper is well worth reading, as it looks at the encounter
between the breastfeeding mother and whoever is supporting her.....I
plan to use it with students as a way of getting into what actually
happens when a mother seeks breastfeeding help or support.
it's also interesting to see the use of 'vignettes' at work in
research exploring what people (in this case midwives or bf
supporters) actually do - I was fairly unfamiliar with this as a
research tool, though I use it a lot in teaching.
