I was looking for a clarification of what you meant. Thanks.... It's
certainly no good thing to try and make people breastfeed who are not
interested in doing so. It is a good thing that there are some alternatives
to breastfeeding.
Kathleen
Betsy, you said in your last post,
" If some of you who do not work with large groups of the general public
could
see the calibre (or lack thereof) of some of our parents of this generation
coming up, you'd realize that it is probably good that there is an
alternative to
breastfeeding. That is not to say that there aren't individuals from all
walks of
life who wish to breastfeed and are successful, but there are those for whom
this would not (and should not) ever be the choice."
Can you clarify please, as I do not know who you are referring to? Are you
saying that there are some parents who have shortcomings that are serious
enough that make it preferable that their babies receive formula? There are
those for whom breastfeeding should not ever be a choice? Who do you mean?
I am honestly not sure I know what you mean here. Thank you for clarifying.
