Dear Friends:
I have enclosed a link to the FDA website where the tubing was the source of
the infection.

If one asks a mother contemplating using another's pump, I've had success by
asking if she would use that mother's toothbrush.
Folks have resistance to their own flora, which could explain the safety
behind one woman using her own pump, even over a period of years.
However, hand expression can work. Furthermore, hands can't be given away or
sold. They are easy to clean and free.
warmly,
Nikki Lee RN, MS, Mother of 2, IBCLC, CCE, CIMI
