I work at a community hospital where we have a Level 3 nursery and do
about 130 births/month. There is the almost universal belief that a
mom should mostly bottlefeed if she wants to get home sooner. The
doctors believe it, the nurses believe it and hence the moms believe
it. However, one of our NNP's wants to see if it's really true and
she suspects it is not. I am thrilled that she is willing to take
this on. Are there any studies that have looked at this?

At our hospital each NICU baby has a private room with an attached
private room for the parents, so the mom can be there for all
feedings if she wants.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

that dumped over 2 feet of snow on us!)
