This is really interesting thread. I'm going to
compile a list of the books/authors recommended. I'm a
big fiction reader, and I comment often to my husband
how suprised I am how often breastfeeding is mentioned
in the fiction I've read since my daughter was born.
Was it always there and I didn't notice? Am I reading
different types of books now? I think it's the former.
A fun "chick lit" that your daughter might like is _So
What Do You Do all Day?_ by Amy Scheibe. (In it, a
woman relactates!) Right now I'm reading _The Memory
Keeper's Daughter_ by Kim Edwards. In it, a new mom
breastfeeds in the 70s when, she says, it wasn't
talked about. Very nicely done, imo.
