I do believe that many mothers experience loss and grief when breastfeeding
ends - whether that decision was there own or not. The "guilt" women say
they feel for not having reached their own breastfeeding goals is often
rather disappointment and grief. Many times I think it would be healthier
to experience anger towards a health care system that does not support
mothers and breastfeeding and is still riddled with myth-information.
