I think it would be great to have a group pumping room for NICU mothers.
Imagine the networking and support that could happen between them. Parent
support is important for NICU parents. No one else really knows what they are
going through.
We have five small pumping rooms in our NICU, and I wish sometimes they
would "double up." Because the next thing out of their mouths is, "I'll wait
until I get home." That could be an hour or more, and that's not a mindset I
want my mothers to have--delaying pumping.
