Hi everyone,
I have a question: Once a mother who has experienced milk supply problems
starts treatment for hypothyroidism, how long does it take for her milk supply
to respond? Baby is 6 months old and milk supply has been up and down. She
has pumped, is on Domperidone and also needs to formula supplement. This
mother has a history of thryoid problems and was hyperthyroid at one point
post partum.
thanks,
Kerri Zandberg, RN, BScN, IBCLC
