I agree that the behaviors of the pediatricians are unacceptable. However, 
while they are all dancing around all of this and all these issues, I'm not sure 
why they cannot at least get this child's dehydration under control, whether it 
be with peripheral or central lines.

I agree that the workup on this child will be extensive and I agree with Cathy 
Genna that some form of a neurological consult is certainly in order. 
Syndromes are often times difficult to diagnose and many have similar 
components and are yet, very different.

Has this child actually been seen by pediatric specialists or just local docs? It 
is difficult to tell as I am unfamiliar with the medical system there.
