At a recent bf moms meeting, the whole leaky gut allergy thing came up,
and a pregnant mom was concerned about what she should be looking for
if this should happen to her baby. As it turned out, she herself had
been exclusively breastfed for past 6mo and continued nursing for at
least 3 yrs. As did all her siblings. She *saw* breastfeeding for
years, as the oldest (or close to it).
We were all laughing and excited and told her she really needs to heap
the gratitude on her own mother for so thoroughly setting her and the
coming baby up for success on so many levels.
