You noted taking Vit B6, 600mg to help dry up the milk. I have  heard of this, but have not found documentation on it. Some RNs at my hospital first mentioned it to me. Their OB had given an injection of B6 to help them dry up, and they claimed it worked. However the OBs will not recommend it without published studies on using B6 specifically for this purpose. Info in Hale says maybe yes, maybe no, and I've read cautionary tales of overdosing - although this is a water soluble vitamin.
Do you have more info?
