I could be wrong, but i read once that physicians no longer take the oath to "do no Harm".

encounter (hopefully most) would listen and learn as we work together as a
team.

I got to thinking the other night (as I was compiling some of my breastfeeding
tidbits for our docs) that it is crucial that when physicians uphold their
Hippocratic oath about "do no harm" that they realize that in undermining a
mother's breastfeeding (even unintentionally in their effits to correct some
other "problem" they perceive), they are, indeed, doing harm to BOTH the
mother anad baby. I wonder how many of them have ever looked at this
situation from that point of view?

Anyone have any ideas as to how to get that idea across without sounding
confrontational?
