Companies who manufacture infant formula, baby foods, bottles, and artificial nipples are non-compliant with the Code based on how they market their products, not on the sole basis that they manufacture or sell the products. The Code is a voluntary guide on marketing practices, not manufacturing practices. To obtain a listing of company violators you can go to the IBFAN website at www.ibfan.org. NABA, the National Alliance for Breastfeeding Advocacy monitors the Code in the US. You can order the US country report from NABA at www.naba-breastfeeding.org.
