I am not trying to throw a monkey wrench into this discussion but my very
wise husband just made a very good point. "In today's globalized marketing
system it is nearly impossible to totally boycott a company. These limited
marketing agreements are quick and limited time partnerships that increase revenue
streams and make the bottom lines of these companies look better. It is a
fast changing and quickly deceiving system of interconnectedness."
In English all we can to is the best we can. Try to stay up to date on which
companies are interconnected and hope that we make a difference. In short
all, cut yourselves some slack! The reason that Nestle is having to involve
itself in these limited partnerships is because its core products aren't doing
very well. I can only hope it's because of this very long boycott. Here's to
hope.
Happy Holidays to all
