This is a bit off topic, but I received the information from my midwive's
group. A wonderful book called, "Hey! Who's Having This Baby Anyway" is
written by a NICU nurse, who is also a midwife. She discusses all the
interventions, the risks, and things to consider when looking for a provider. It truly
is unlike any other pregnancy book out there. In my humble opinion, EVERY
pregnant woman should read this book. (but I know my opinion is just that, an
opinion lol). I recommend you navigate her website, her information is
fanastic and written in a non threatening way that mothers will feel comfortable
with. I ordered and received my copy from Amazon and am thoroughly impressed
by the information provided. I have NO financial interest in this book. Here
is the link to the website:

"If we could look into each other’s hearts and understand the unique
challenges each of us faces, I think we would treat each other much more gently,
with more love, patience, tolerance, and care".
Marvin J. Ashton
“Motherhood is the greatest potential influence either for good or ill in
human life. The mother's image is the first that stamps itself on the unwritten
page of the young child's mind. It is her caress that first awakens a sense
of security; her kiss, the first realization of affection; her sympathy and
tenderness, the first assurance that there is love in the world.”
David O. McKay
