Hello, I've been lurking for a number a months (being a shy and retiring type) enjoying the information and support!  My background includes over 25 years as an LLLL, LLLI Breastfeeding PCPA for 14 years (also Best Start Training),  WIC certifier/breastfeeding coordinator and WA State WIC contractor.  My greatest education comes as mother to four breastfed babies and grandmother to four all exclusively breastfed grandchildren including twins (of course, I cannot take the credit there!).  We are expecting two more grandchildren as well.  I am surprised to be starting a 'real' career in my fifties even to the point of taking the IBCLE exam this month (arghh!)

WA State WIC recently added two pumps to our lactation services and I have been tasked with drafting policies for their use.  We added the Harmony hand pump and the Pump n' Style.  It would be most helpful to hear/see what policies other agencies are using.  If you are able and willing share please email me.
