THE West Cumbria branch of the National Childbirth Trust has launched a new scheme for pregnant mums, parents and their young babies in Cockermouth.
Bumps and Babes was launched at Rusty's children's play centre and coffee shop on South Street on Wednesday to give parents a chance to get together and get advice from each other and trust breastfeeding counsellor Ann-Marie Steel.
It will run every Wednesday between 10am and 11.30am and Anne-Marie said the sessions are primarily aimed at pregnant women and babies' mums and dads.
She said: "It gives them a chance to talk to each other and use each other as sounding boards.
"Rusty's has adopted the trust's breastfeeding policy and is the perfect venue for Bumps and Babes."
