I am posting for a LC friend without internet access. She has a patient
asking about this product. Coincidentally I received an ad for it today
in my e-mail box.
"Hoodia gordonii, (Hoodia) is the botanical name for a cactus like plant
that grows in Southern Africa.
Each capsule of HoodiaLife™ includes 100% Pure South African Hoodia
Gordonii succulent complex. No filters are used, no yeast, wheat, corn,
soy, milk, salt, sugar, starch, artificial colors or flavors are
included. The other ingredients are Maltofdextrin and Magnesium
Stearate."
Of course the question is--can the patient BF while taking this product?
What do you all think?
Warmly,
Pat Bucknell IBCLC
