Since milk storage bags have been a topic, I thought I would ask a
question.
I have always told moms that the "best" storage container would be the
soft bottles that are made of polypropylene. That the harder polycarbonate
bottles could leach a harmful byproduct, so they were fine for feeding with
but not for freezing. Then I say that if storage space is an issue, storage
bags could be used, but should be double lined. And I add that you lose
some of the antibiotic properties when using the bags, but many find them
more convenient for them. I know that I've read that you can lose up to 60%
of the antibodies by using the bags.
So my question is... is this still current information?
