Sorry, I forgot to mention this mom's age is 44 yr and she had hormonal
issues in past, thus the endocrinologist, and she conceived with IVF. She is on
Synthroid and Cytomel for hypothyroidism which has been treated throughout
pregnancy and post partum. Is it possible that this rash has something to do with
peri-menopausal state? Oh, and other than the rash effects, mom says she
feels fine; elimination of bladder and bowel normal (she thought of some toxin
being excreted and cause rash). I'm wondering now if her liver could be
involved--digging deep into past RN days, and remember pruitis occuring with liver
disease?
