The mom I was working with recently was experiencing this over and over --  
tried acupuncture, tried ultrasound -- each worked for awhile and then back  
again.  Finally, it turned out to be yeast which had actually resisted the  
Diflucan she was on. She wound up weaning because she was told by some doc that  
as long as she breastfed, she would battle yeast.  Coincidentally, the  yeast 
did resolve.  Now,she is back, yeast free and plugged duct free and  trying to 
relactate!  Ann
