I work privately as an IBCLC in Jerusalem, Israel.
My insurance costs me $540, with a liability of $500.000.
I am also a nurse, but that does not effect my insurance.
The hospital where I worked until 2005 had no Lactation Consultant employed - had there been one receiving a monthly salary, she would have been covered by the hospital, like every other employee.
I hope this answered some of your questions, and was a help!
Beverley Wolman IBCLC
