hello
first, for some reason i've not rec'd a lactnet digest in days. anyone know what's up?
next, a good friend in Louisiana and her co-worker LCs are wanting to know what others do
regarding documentation of f/u phone calls. for many years, and at 3 different hospitals, i have
documented all phone calls but file them in my file cabinet, and they are not part of the pt chart.
my friend says they have a lengthy f/u phone call form to complete and that it must be put on the
pt chart. do any of you have any knowledge if this is a requirement, and what do you all do with your
phone calls? thanks.Laurie Wheeler, IBCLC, MN, RN Mississippi, s.e. USA
