I searched the archives and could not find a post that I remember from earlier this year. Does anyone use a bar code labeling system to identify expressed breastmilk in their NICU? If so, can you please provide me with information as to its effectiveness in preventing errors and the name of the company? We are currently comparing the cost/efficy of a bar code system vs. having a tech prepare all feeds for our 75 bed level 3 NICU.
Thanks for your help,
Chris Smith RN, IBCLC
