The problem with the "free" ad is that the mroe educated women already know
to BF and statistically do, however it is our poorer mothers, those who get
formula for free from WIC and other programs that we need to convince as
well. We can use the free message to some, but there need to be other ways
to convice them and speaking the truth about the hazards of formula and not
sugar coating it is a start. the ad campaign that the US had was great, but
stopped short so not to "offend" moms who did not BF. I agree we have to be
tactful, but we are against multi-million dollar copanies here who use
every ploy known to man to sell their product.
