(I've always dreamed of having this kind of casual drop-in atmosphere for moms to meet and talk about breastfeeding, and other baby stuff. Not a public-health sponsored breastfeeding class or parent talk, and not a LLL meeting with a formal format for discussion. Another option to provide another kind of support - a set time each week, when moms can come if they are able that week, and just have a coffee and chat. Especially in Canada where we now have one-year maternity leaves - I think moms would like this, and it would support our duration rates.
If I lived in a city, I would just set it up myself, in some out-of-the-way coffee shop that needed extra business in some off hours when moms could come!

"The best things in life are free," said the countess, known locally as Clare Guinness, as she endorsed the 'breast is best' message.
The café, which meets every Thursday at 10am in the town's Methodist Church on Tanner Street, is designed so mothers can share advice about the best way to feed their babies.
