I thought that infants were able to suck and swallow simultaneously? I
think I had this impression from dr Palmer's studies of neonatal
cranio-facial anatomy. I thought - correct me if I'm wrong - that they have
to co-ordinate sucking and swallowing but that its not a matter of one or
the other as it is later in life.
