I remember this portion of the Wolf and Glass presentation I attended,
specifically because they explained that directly breastfeeding most
premies is healthier because babies get a break in the flow between MER's
that allow them to catch up on their oxygen if needed.
Also, the flow from the breast is comparatively small compared with many
of the nipples given to babies; I've seen brand-new newborn nipples ripped
out of their packages that flow like sieves.
