Pardon me if this is a dumb newbie question--Isn't the use of either
Domperidone or Reglan for milk supply considered off-label use for these
drugs? Given that fact, I don't think there is an arguement that the
crackdown on Domperidone was for economic reasons. If I am also not
mistaken--a person who is an IBCLC cannot prescribe any pharmaceutical on
her own anyway, right? The question I have is, if Domperidone works so
well, how can the present guidelines be changed so that it is easier for
moms to get it if they need it?
