There is no need for multi vitamin drops in healthy breastfed infants.
(Preterm infants may need additional iron because of insufficient iron
storage). There is also one study that found a higher risk of asthma in
infants given commercial vitamin drops. There is no vitamin D only
supplement for infants (and the one sold in Canada has inert ingredients
other than vitamin D). Another option supported by several research
studies is for mom to take 2000 to 4000 units of vitamin D daily to have
sufficient vitamin D3 in her milk to support the infants' needs without
sunlight exposure.
