It's up to the doctor who is recommending this new practice to provide the
evidence that human milk diluted with Pedialyte is better for sick children
(babies?) than human milk alone. Where is his evidence that human milk is
missing any necessary electrolytes? And how are these sick children (how
old are the children in question?) supposed to make up for the shortage of
nutrition brought about by the dilution of their milk? Is the
recommendation for older babies / children who are eating regular foods and
breastfeeding or does it include exclusively BFing babies?
