My daughter has been nursing for 3 years, tandem nursing for 1 year.
Her menses returned 2 months ago. One week before the second period she got
3 plugged ducts which did not respond to the usual treatment and developed
into 'Mastisis' which was treated with antibiotics. Now with her period due
in several days - she has another plugged duct. Soy Lecithin seems to have
diminished it slightly.
Has anyone had experience with recurrent plug ducts related to menses? What
can be done to alleviate or avoid this situation?
Tahnk-you,
Anna Quinn Wilson, IBCLC
