About 10 years ago I remember reading some research about the average
age of puberty being later in people who were breastfed compared to
those who were fed ABM. Does anyone have references to research on
this, especially more recent? The magazine "Alternative Medicine"
has a cover article on "Early Puberty-Can We Stop This Alarming
Trend?" and mentions hormones in plastics and meats (among other
things) but doesn't mention lack of breastfeeding as a factor in the
increase in early puberty. I would like to write a letter to them and
mention this information.
