Dear Friends:
I hate to raise an evil spectre, but has this mother had a mammogram?
There is at least one article out there about mastitis that doesn't
resolve being a symptom of inflammatory breast cancer. This is a bit different,
being a recurrent problem and not a chronic one, but still, it can't hurt to
get a u/s or mammogram.
And what about the Henley article in Birth, and early LLL findings that
anemia were related to recurrent mastitis? Henly said that 20% of postpartum
ladies in that sample had mastitis.
