I was asked to post this to Lactnet due to a firewall on Kirsten's computer
not letting her post to Lactnet. This way it is on the list too. Also,
thanks to everyone for the help and information. I feel he will be well prepared
for his presentation thanks to all the help here.
Best,
Pam MazzellaDiBosco

Hi Pam,
I just did a google search looking for the official AAP powerpoints
(which are a good start for educating physicians), and found a bunch of
stuff. Try this search: "aap breastfeeding ppt" and see what you get.
The AAP has some good materials put together - you can access the
breastfeeding materials from the page http://www.aap.org/breastfeeding/
the AAP speaker's kit on breastfeeding is available at
http://www.aap.org/breastfeeding/speakerskit.cfm, which has a 6 part
powerpoint presentation that I've adapted for lectures to medical
students. It can all be downloaded for free, and has the advantage of
the AAP seal on all the slides to make it look official!
Cheers, Kirsten Berggren
