I'm sure others will comment that fertility is likely to return when the criteria for LAM is not met (lactational amenorrhea method), of which the basic criteria are:
exclusively, ecologically bf - no other foods or liquids or pacifiers
baby is less than 6 months old
mother has not had her first menstrual period
The mothers mentioned had had a first period around 3 months, so they should at that point consider themselves fertile.
