Permission to post from mom. G6P3 multip who was diagnosed with Leukemia at the age of 4. She was treated with chemo and radiation and then found to be free of any cancer. With all 3 of her children, she experienced breast changes during pregnancy and enlargement after birth. She was only ever able to express one or two drops of colostrum, never any milk. She said she felt like she had milk all 3 times but the babies were unable to transfer any, she was unable to pump any, and other than an initial drop or two, was unable to express any milk. She is resigned to the fact that next baby (EDC May 13) will be formula fed like the first three but is open to any suggestions. Does anyone have a similar experience? Would an MRI, ductography, etc be indicated? Can those be performed on a pregnant woman?
