I totally agree. At our hospital, we have the nursing students from the
university spend a day with the LC as part of their OB rotation. They are also
required to attend a prenatal BF class before they tag along w/ one of us. Of
course, it doesn't hurt that one of the clinical instructors is an IBCLC
herself.
I also have to say a word of thanks to all of you who send on articles to
keep us up on what is in the media. I share these with coworkers all the
time.
