Just to say that the Baby Cafe network was begun 5 years ago by two 
dedicated enthusiasts, Catherine Pardoe and Julie Williams, both 
IBCLCs and also healthcare professionals with a nursing or health 
visiting background. CW has an LLL background, too.

They obtained public funding for the first Baby Cafes and the network 
is now run by a charitable trust.

Without individual dedication, initiatives like this cannot get 
started - I think this is the case all over the world!
