Hello All ~ I've been away for sometime and have taken "the exam." Those
of you who have taken the exam know just it feels to wait and wait for the
results. Oct. 13th seems so far in the future and, to make the waiting
worse, it's on a Friday! Not that I'm suspicious or anything.
I do have a question, and have permission to post, that came up today while
chatting the LC at the local hospital. The LC had been asked that if a
lactating mother loses more that 2 pounds a week she runs the risk of having
increased toxins in her breast milk. Apparently, this inquiring individual
had read it "somewhere" and wanted to know if it's true.
Can anyone shed some light on this for us? Many thanks.
