I was finally able to take the whole quiz.
I must admit that I was plesantly surprized that the answer to:
How long does the American Academy of Pediatrics recommend that mothers
breastfeed?
a) 6 months
b) 12 months
c) 18 months
d) none of the above
The correct answer was "d". The quiz went on to state "at least 12 months
and thereafter as long as is mutually deisred."
However, the statement that all breastfed babies need Vit K, Vit D, and
flouride really bothered me. I am not certain about K and flouride, but I
know that many babies do not need Vit. D supplimentation. Am I wrong?
Please let me know if this is the case, so I can stop griping about it! :)
