Patti, a mother I was working with has similar symptoms to what you
describe. As a sufferer of almost chronic plugged ducts and blebs
myself, I thought for sure that's what she had, but she ultimately was
prescribed Diflucan (small doses over a period of time, not the one-
time big dose) and used nystatin on her baby -- swears she had thrush
and is nursing pain-free for the first time in months.
I never suspected thrush and even strongly doubted the diagnosis when
she first told me about it, but I can't argue with her profession of
complete relief.
