please help clarify my understanding, in several sources (Lawrence, AAP
physicians guide, Riordan) I have seen that Insulin as taken by a diabetic does
not cross into breast milk, however, in some of these same sources, I have seen
Insulin listed as one of the many peptide hormones that can be found in breast
milk... now I also just read in a 2003 syllabus from Lisa Marasco's talk LLLI
that prolactin, progesterone, estrogen, relaxin, and epidermal GF are
SYNTHESIZED in the breast  so, is it possible that insulin is synthesized in
the breast or is the information regarding the drug insulin outdated based on
previously used bovine insulin where as now humulin the the preferred
injection, or is humulin a larger molecule (I can't remember my basic sience,
wouldn't it be smaller? missing the c peptide?)
