Leaking seems to be pretty common and some moms/babies
don't mind though they say it's messy.  A couple
mothers I worked with found that certain positions
helped "close" the leak from a piercing.  The biggest
annoyance seems to be when the hole is lined up with
the side of the baby's mouth.  Experimenting with
positions, and keeping baby a little upright, can
help.  Sometimes moms get stuck in a rut with a
certain position but a little maneuvering is all it
takes.  Luckily this seems to be one of those issues
that lessens as babies get older -- in my small
sampling!
