I had a Mom call today complaining of thrush. When I suggested using
Newman's cream she said she was using a compounded cream
called "Lactiplex". I am interested in this because it was a lot cheaper
than Newman's cream if insurance didn't cover it. (It was $22.00). She
said it also had an anti-fungal and pain reliever in it. I will call the
pharmacy as well but wanted to see if anyone else knew about this cream as
I have had a few Moms not able to afford Newman's as their insurance would
not pay for it. (without insurance: $90.00/1 1/2 ounce!) Thanks, I will
just keep checking lactnet for answer. Cindie Luchtefeld, Overland Park,
