Dear all:

There is a big difference between a one time donation of blood, or even donating blood a few time a 
year and the continual and repetitive work involved in pumping.  

Pumping requires a much more repetitive, time intensive process.  For a full supply, it would be 
8-10x/day for 10-15 min.  150 min per day.  That is not an insignificant amount of time.  Even once 
a day pumping over a long period of time is a significant time commitment.
